Subscription

How do I cancel Unlimited?

Unlimited is billed by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad → tap your name → Subscriptions → readerr → Cancel Subscription. You keep Unlimited until the end of the current period.

I paid, but I still see the free limits.

Open readerr → Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Importing

“This PDF appears to be scanned and cannot be read.”

The PDF is a picture of pages without a text layer. Run it through a text-recognition (OCR) tool first, or copy the text and use Text import.

Some sites load their articles with scripts or put them behind a login. Open the article in Safari, select the text, and paste it with Text import.

Pasted text won’t import.

Text import needs at least 50 characters.

How many documents can I keep?

Up to 5 on the free plan, unlimited with Unlimited. Delete a finished document to make room.

Reading

How do the gestures work?

• Tap the reading area — play / pause
• Hold — read 10% faster while you hold
• Drag sideways — scrub back or forward word by word
• Drag the speed pill up or down — change words per minute

You can open the guide again anytime: Settings → About → Reader Gestures.

Where is my library stored?

On your device. readerr has no account and no server, so deleting the app also deletes your library.
